The Arkansas State Society has a long, rich history as a community for Arkansans in Washington, D.C. State societies are notable in the Nation’s capital, dating back more than a century, and serve an important, non-partisan role for states’ citizens, honoring the history and traditions of America’s 50 states.

What makes the Arkansas State Society unique is that it provides opportunities for celebrating our shared heritage in a relaxed and non-partisan atmosphere of goodwill. Arkansas has much to celebrate – its culture, people, food, art, music, and so much more. Furthermore, it brings together a diverse group of bright, hardworking folks representing government, students, young professionals, business leaders and elected officials, who hail from all four corners of the state and seek to connect with one another.
